Stay-at-Home Credits

Our insurance companies recognize the far-reaching consequences of the current pandemic. One of them is lost income while businesses are shut down. Most, if not all, of the companies we represent enacted a “no late fee, no cancellation” policy to address this need. If you must defer payments, call your insurance company directly and speak with a representative. They will adjust your payment schedule to help you weather this difficult situation.

“Office Politics” while working from home. The “co-workers” play king-of-the-bed.

Additionally, insurance companies are aware that shelter-in-place directives result in fewer drivers on the road and a reduced risk of accidents. Some companies, including Safeco, Encompass, Travelers, and Allstate, have opted to return 15% of the monthly auto premiums to insureds over the next month or two to keep more money in your pocket while we work through these unprecedented circumstances. Progressive Insurance is offering 20%. We anticipate more companies to join this effort.

As of now our offices remain open, as we are deemed an “essential” industry. For those of us not physically in the office, we will continue to work for you from home offices and cell phones. There may be delays at the carrier level due to high call volumes, but with your understanding, we are committed to maintaining excellent service.

As always, should you have questions or require assistance or documentation, feel free to call our offices.

Stay home and healthy!
